How unexpectedly my life has turned around and how my experience is being realized.
Today, having gone through my own trials, I help people navigate professional and personal storms. Sometimes, it feels like terrifying turbulence—when it seems like you’re losing everything and there’s no way out…
At first, this was part of my role as a leader: career planning, risk assessment, motivation, and talent development. At different times, I managed teams of 50 to 150 people, helping them grow.
Then, it became a separate service at my training center, where we built clear career plans with deadlines.
And after my 2024 sabbatical, it evolved into a crucial area of personal consulting that brings a sense of purpose.
⚡Career Therapy⚡
This phrase first appeared about four years ago during my initial practice with an external client. At first, it seemed too grandiose, but it stuck. Today, it defines the essence of my work with clients.
Because even amid everything happening, questions of purpose, personal value, and the desire to support our loved ones remain. And all of this has been shaken and often requires therapy—or even urgent rehabilitation.
Many of my clients are Ukrainians. Some were scattered across the world by war—they don’t know the language of the country they found themselves in and are unsure what to do next. Some have remote jobs but are uncertain about their stability. Some have lost their jobs entirely. Others have stayed in Ukraine, with or without work. They all feel lost, exhausted, afraid, and uncertain. But together, we find stability and rebuild careers using a project-based approach.
What I tell others is also what I tell myself:
⚡Feeling lost, afraid, dissociated, sleepless, or angry—it’s normal. This is how an exhausted mind reacts.
⚡Having a stable job but wanting to change it, even when everything around is in chaos—it’s normal.
⚡Dreaming of a better life, a higher salary, or more interesting responsibilities—it’s normal.
These are the healthy desires of a living person.
The key question is: What do we do with these feelings? Do we remain stuck in them, driving ourselves into a dead end and deeper frustration? Or do we look for a way forward?
Seeking help and looking for a way forward—it’s normal.
